Important Update on Class Assignments
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to inform you that classroom assignments will not be posted on the front doors of our school building this year to protect the confidentiality of student information.
You will be able to find out your child's assigned teacher by signing into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal beginning on July 31st. This is the school district platform used for school registration and student information. This account provides access to grades, attendance, and personal information. Please note that if you have not updated registration for your student for the upcoming school year, you will not be able to view your child's assigned classroom teacher.
Classroom assignments will be released in Infinite Campus Parent Portal on July 31st. If you have any questions about the Parent Portal, please feel free to reach out to Kelli Hughes our Data Manager at 828-524-3216 ext. 1403 or message her using the MCS Rooms Application.

East Franklin Elem: Tomorrow, Friday, May 23rd is the last day of school and it will be a half day for students. Car riders will dismiss at 11:10 and bus riders at 11:30. It's been a wonderful school year, have a fantastic summer!

East Franklin’s 1st Career Day was interactive and enjoyed by all! Various professions were represented to inspire students to start thinking about their future. We are appreciative to our supportive community members who took time to make this opportunity possible!

Please have your child get a good night's rest and be on time for school as testing will promptly begin after the school pledge at 8:00 A.M. There will be a brief PTO meeting this Thursday, May 15th at 5:30 followed by a chorus concert, performed by our 3rd and 4th grade Panther Singers. Thank you and have a great evening.

Tomorrow is the last day to turn in picture money for the individual spring pictures that were sent home. If you don't want to pay for them, send the pictures back to school. May 13th and May 14th are End of Grade tests for 3rd and 4th graders. Kids and teachers are still working hard each day so please have students at school and on time. Avoid early pickups if at all possible. We appreciate your support and the kindness you and your kids have shown to us during appreciation week.
